Our Managing Director, Wil, has been an integral part of the oak timber frame industry since its resurgence in the 1990s. Initially, he spent many years restoring historic buildings, cultivating an extensive understanding of oak frame structures and their construction, both in historical and contemporary contexts.
We possess the capability to furnish engineered schemes for obtaining building control approval. Should the project be structural in nature, building control authorities often require engineers’ design and calculations, which, unlike many timber frame suppliers, we can readily provide. Not only do we ensure accurate engineering, but we also design our frames with respect to traditional proportions, timber sizes, and authentic joints.
For our Garden rooms, we offer a complimentary site survey, including a design brief discussion. Beyond this, we offer no-obligation 3D proposed scheme drawings along with a comprehensive cost breakdown for the intended project.
